OPEN GYM

We offer time weekly for the public to use our facility every FRIDAY 6-8pm! Trained coaches will be there to monitor and we welcome athletes of all ages and skill levels for only $5! If you are a member of WILDCATS Open Gym is free! Be sure to get your first open gym free on the home page!

 

LEARN TO TUMBLE! Classes for all levels

Whether you are working on a cartwheel or a double full we have a tumbling class for you! Want to improve flexibility? We have a class for that too! We welcome all athletes for any of our 8 week gymnastic style tumbling class sessions whether you are a cheerleader, a dancer, or a gymnast! Questions about the best class for you? TINY TUMBLE:

(Wednesdays 5:45-6:30pm)

This course is for our littlest athletes just learning to tumble! Focus will be on basics and continuing development of motor-skills. Paired with fun and learning, this tumble class is perfect for our 3-5 year olds!

INTRO TO CHEER

(Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm)

This class is open to all beginner athletes ages 6 to 12 who are interested in seeing what competitive cheerleading is all about! This introduction to cheerleading will focus on the fundamentals of tumbling, stunting, and jumping for your athlete to see if this is something they may be truly interested in!

ORANGE TUMBLE:

(Mondays 7:00-7:45pm)

This course is for athletes interested in learning the tumbling skills in accordance to the USASF Level 1 guidelines. Athletes will work handstands, cartwheels, front and back walkovers, and strong rebounding round offs. This class will focus on technique, progressions, and mastery of level 1 before advancement. Athletes must demonstrate strong, technically sound back and front walkovers before advancing.

GREY TUMBLE:

(Mondays 6:15-7:00pm)

This course is for athletes interested in learning the tumbling skills in accordance to the USASF Level 2 guidelines. Athletes will work Level 2 back and front handsprings and their connections. This class will focus on technique, progressions, and mastery of level 2 before advancement. Athletes must demonstrate strong running tumbling ending in multiple backhandsprings before advancing.

BLACK TUMBLE:

(Mondays 5:30-6:15pm)

This course is for athletes interested in learning the tumbling skills in accordance to the USASF Level 3 guidelines with introduction to the Level 4 standing back tuck. Athletes will work standing tucks and running tumbling ending in tucks. High focus on a strong, set positions will be the main focus. This class will be structured on technique, progressions, and mastery of skill before advancement. Athletes must demonstrate strong standing tucks and running tumbling ending in tucks before advancement.

WHITE TUMBLE:

(Mondays 8:15-9:00pm)

This course is for athletes interested in learning the tumbling skills in accordance to the USASF Level 4 guidelines. Athletes will work hollow body layout positions, whips, and punch front step out connections. This class will focus on technique, progressions, and mastery of skill before advancement. A mastery of a the hollow body layout is REQUIRED before advancement.

TWISTING TUMBLE:

(Wednesdays 6:15-7:00pm)

This course is for athletes interested in learning the tumbling skills in accordance to the USASF Level 5 guidelines. Athletes will work both running and standing twisting skills and whip punch connections. This class will focus on technique, progressions, and mastery of skill before advancement. A mastery of a the hollow body layout is REQUIRED.

FLEX:

(Wednesdays 8:15-9:00pm)

Flexibility class is designed for athletes who desire to up build body control and flexibility. This class will help athletes with jumps, flyer body positions, and overall body control for use in tumbling. It is also great for dancers for body alignment and ankle strength.
