Fall 2017 Back To School Classes!

We are so excited to bring you our most recent class offerings. Whether you are working on a cartwheel or a double full we have a tumbling class for you! Want to improve flexibility? We have a class for that too! We welcome all athletes for any of our 8 week gymnastic style tumbling class sessions whether you are a cheerleader, a dancer, or a gymnast! Our next 8 week session runs from August 7th to September 30th. It is our BACK TO SCHOOL Session and we hope to see you there!

The following classes are offered throughout the week at various times for your convenience! Take a look at the schedule and see what classes may fit the best for you. This session we are offering the following classes:

FLEX:

Flexibility class is designed for athletes who desire to up build body control and flexibility. This class will help athletes with jumps, flyer body positions, and overall body control for use in tumbling. It is also great for dancers for body alignment and ankle strength.

ORANGE TUMBLE:

This course is for athletes interested in learning the tumbling skills in accordance to the USASF Level 1 and level 2 guidelines. Athletes will work handstands, cartwheels, front and back walkovers, and strong rebounding round offs. Once these skills are mastered athletes will be introduced to back and front handsprings. This class will focus on technique, progressions, and mastery of level 1 and beginning level 2 skills before advancement. Athletes must demonstrate strong, technically sound back and front handsprings before advancing.

GREY TUMBLE:

This course is for athletes interested in learning the tumbling skills in accordance to the USASF Level 2 and 3 guidelines. Athletes will work Level 2 back and front handspring connections as well as the set in both front and back tucking skills. Running tumbling ending in tucks, multiple back handsprings, aerials, and punch front tucks will be the focus. This class will focus on technique, progressions, and mastery of level 2 and 3 skill before advancement. Athletes must demonstrate strong running tumbling ending in a back tuck as well as a solid front tuck before advancing.

BLACK TUMBLE:

This course is for athletes interested in learning the tumbling skills in accordance to the USASF Level 4 guidelines. Athletes will work standing tucks, standing tumbling ending in tucks and layouts, running layouts, punch front tuck step outs, and whip through skills. High focus on a strong, hollow body lay out position will be the main focus. This class will be structured on technique, progressions, and mastery of skill before advancement. Athletes must demonstrate strong punch front tuck step outs through to hollow body layout, running whip through to hollow body layout, and strong standing back tuck before advancement.

TWISTING TUMBLE:

This course is for athletes interested in learning the tumbling skills in accordance to the USASF Level 5 guidelines. Athletes will work both running and standing twisting skills and whip punch connections. This class will focus on technique, progressions, and mastery of skill before advancement. A mastery of a the hollow body layout is REQUIRED.
